PERSONAL CHOICE PARTY

WEBER COUNTY COMMISSIONER

A VOICE FOR THE PEOPLE,

NOT PARTY AND OTHER SPECIAL INTERESTS!

Government IS: "of the people, by the people, and for the people!" It IS NOT: of, by, and for elitists, aristocrats, political parties, banks and corporations!

I STAND FOR: Liberty (individual inalienable Rights), Equity ("all men [mankind] are created equal"), and Justice (it has no purse or sight); open meetings (no exceptions); dissemination of all facts and figures; and honestly seeking and measuring the public will in all public matters effecting citizens.

Government Involvement in Personal Choice:

I find the concept abhorrent! Ours should be a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people" which means that the people are the government, not a Leviathan as described by Thomas Hobbes in his Seventeenth Century book. When government is involved in the lives of citizens and is directing their choices, there is no liberty, there is only despotism! It is a condition of neighbors minding their neighbors business. Thomas Jefferson stated that "no person has a right to commit aggression against the natural rights of another person, and that is all the law should consist of." Tyranny has no place in the United States of America!

Campaign Goals:

My campaign goals are to broadcast my message of Liberty and self-determination to as many of the citizens of Weber County as possible and to win Seat "C" on the Weber County Commission. Even if I do not win, I am hopeful of planting, or at least fertilizing, the seeds of a desire for Liberty in others who will be willing to work for equity and justice.
